The acai berries, similar to grapes, grow along the banks of the amazon, on palm trees that draw their strength from the rich soil of the rainforest. Once ripe, the berries are crushed and lyophylised, so as to obtain a bright purple powder.

The berries are considered to be a natural fruit of a multitude of nutrients and phytonutrients. The acai berry powder is obtained by a process of lyophylization which allows optimum preservation of nutrient values. In addition, the powder is extremely concentrated: 20 kg of fruit in 1 kg of powder. It is a product rich in vitamins (B1, B2, E), fibres and minerals (calcium, potassium).
