Sodium bicarbonate is a leaven, a substance used in pasta that makes them swollen.
In the presence of humidity, heat, acidity, or other triggers, the leaven reacts by producing gas (often carbon dioxide) that is trapped like bubbles in the dough.
This is what gives breads and cakes and all other pastries their softness, and a sponge texture.
Sodium bicarbonate is also an inexpensive, effective and deodorant cleaner for household purposes.
Tips for use
Take half a teaspoon a day with a meal or as advised by your healthcare professional.
If side effects occur to stop using this product immediately. Do not exceed the recommended dose. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent a disease. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age, during pregnancy and lactation.
