What is the Betaine HCL?

Betain HCL 350 mg is gastric acid or hydrochloric acid (HCL). It's a powerful digestive agent. A healthy stomach contains sufficient concentration of HCL to maintain a pH of between 1 and 2. Low levels of HCl can be problematic and cause an imbalance in the growth of normal bacterial flora in the intestines.

With age, acid secretion of the stomach tends to decrease. Results: low stomach acidity, poor digestion, mineral deficiency, in this order.

What to do?

Our Betain HCL helps to make nutrients and minerals more absortable. Achieving the right balance of flora is the key to maintaining good digestive function and good health. Dr. Clark has repeatedly stated that people are better at taking HCL instead of probiotics, because if the 'stomb barrier' (stomach) is upstream, it prevents inhospitable microorganisms from entering the colon, this causes good flora in the colon without having a constant need for probiotic supplements.

Tips for use

Take one capsule with meals or as advised by your healthcare professional.

If side effects occur to stop using this product immediately. Do not exceed the recommended dose. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent a disease. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age, during pregnancy and lactation.
